How often should I use At My Best?
At My Best is most effective if run on an annual cycle, helping individuals, teams and organisations set their goals for the next 12 months.
Are there different At My Best feedback surveys for different roles?
Yes. We have built and tailored At My Best to suit every role in schools, regional and central offices. This includes different surveys for senior leaders, middle level managers, teachers, specialists and support staff.
What is strength-based feedback?
Strengths-based feedback is designed to help people identify and learn more about their talents and what they do best. Appreciating and supporting people to develop their strengths, energy and talent is a powerful way of engaging and motivating them to achieve even more positive results.
Weaknesses are still addressed, but framed in terms of ‘knowledge’, ‘behaviours’ or ‘practices’ – which are less likely to be perceived as personal criticism and easier to improve.
I’m an individual – can I still use At My Best?
Yes. At My Best is available to whole organisations, teams or individuals.
How do 360° feedback surveys work?
360° feedback surveys provide a structured way of gathering confidential feedback about how you operate in your role. You first complete the survey about yourself and then send a similar survey to a range of people you work with, including supervisors, colleagues, team members or even, in the case of teachers, your students.
You’ll then receive a report that provides a summary of the feedback. You’ll learn how you and others perceive your strengths and areas for development so that you can plan your professional development activities.
Is my feedback report confidential?
Yes. The 360° survey is confidential and controlled by you. It is your decision what you choose to share with others. This is designed to give you ownership of, and confidence in, the process.
